Banana Bars (w/Chocolate Chips & Walnuts)
Who doesn’t like bananas? I mean, anything tastes better once you throw in some bananas right? Mr. Delish is one of those weirdos few people who don’t like bananas. Well, at least not plain bananas that is, since he didn’t have any problem eating these yummy bars!
I really shouldn't pick on my hubby since I'm pretty much the same way with cherries. I LOVE to eat fresh cherries but I don't like cherry pie, candy, ice cream, yogurt or any cherry drinks.
These bars are moist and sweet with a texture between banana bread & cake. They're perfect!

- 3 eggs
- 3 medium bananas
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

- 4 oz cream cheese softened
- 2 1/4 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chip
Instructions
- Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Grease bottom and sides of rectangular pan, 13x9x2 and set aside.
- In a medium bowl combine the flour, baking soda & salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, bananas & vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour mix into the creamed mixture and continue beating on medium speed for about 2 minutes. Fold in the chocolate chips with a spatula. Do not over mix.
