Can you believe Christmas is next week already? I had so many plans to bake like crazy and have only done about two recipes! I did make these Eggnog Tea Cookies to start me off into holiday mode. Interestingly, these cookies don’t have eggnog in them! The fresh nutmeg and a little splash of rum in the frosting gives them that “eggnog” taste.
I’m very happy to announce that I have partnered up with Inspired Homes and will be contributing some recipes for their website. Sometimes I get asked where I get some of the items you see here on the blog and this collaboration will be a great way for me to share some of that information. Inspired Homes will be providing me some of their products (chosen by me of course) and the source will be noted on their website! I’m really looking forward to being part of the Inspired Home family 🙂
In this post I’m featuring the mixing bowl & measuring cups from Mason Cash. When I saw them it was love at first sight! I knew I had to have them.
Also the tea pot below is from Finum and it really adds extra classiness for my afternoons when I prefer to drink tea instead of coffee. I just love the white simple look.
I really don’t like to share recipes where the ingredients are hard to find and these cookies these cookies are not an exception. However, the key for their holiday flavor is freshly grated nutmeg. If you can’t find whole nutmeg, then use a newer batch of ground nutmeg from a jar.
All you need is flour, nutmeg, salt, butter, sugar, 1 egg & vanilla extract. For the full recipe, visit Inspired Homes here
