Agua De Piña

Simple and easy to make this homemade Pineapple water recipe is one delicious sip. Ready to enjoy in minutes, it’s fruity, sweet and so refreshing!

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh pineapple chunks ( or 1 whole fresh pineapple)
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 4 Tbsp white sugar see note

Instructions

  • Cut the pineapple into chunks
  • Please the 4 cups of pineapple chunks in a blender with 1 or 2 cups of water.
  • Blend until smooth all of the chunks have blended. About 1 minute.
  • Strain mixture into a bowl then transfer the pineapple water to a pitcher. Skip this step If you want to keep the pulp in the drink.
  • Add the remaining of the water and sugar. Mix well.
  • Taste and add more sugar or water if needed.
  • Enjoy drink over some ice!

Notes

You can substitute the sugar with your favorite non calorie sweetener. Just start with a couple of packets and adjust to taste from there.
Agua de Piña will last up to 2 or 3 days max in the fridge depending how ripe the pineapple was to begin with.
