Ingredients

  • 1 pound tomatillos (about 9) wash and cut in half
  • 2 jalapeños cut into chunks
  • 3 serrano pepper cut into chunks
  • ¼ cup onion chopped
  • 1 small garlic clove chopped
  • 1 small bunch cilantro
  • salt & pepper
  • 2 avocados, small to medium cut in half, peeled and remove the pit.
  • ¾ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • In a blender or processor, add the tomatillos, jalapeños, serrano peppers, onion, garlic clove and salt. Give it a quick blend.
  • Then add the cilantro and puree well.
  • Add the avocado and puree until smooth. Taste for salt and add more if needed according to taste.

Notes

This salsa will store well refrigerated for about 4 to 5 days.
