The Classic Margarita Recipe
Make the perfect Classic Margarita f or your next cocktail night! This drink is so refreshing, great for any time of year, pre-dinner drinks, or any time you need a delicious cocktail.

1 cup fresh squeezed lime juice 1 cup simple syrup 9 oz good tequila ¼ cup Triple Sec Lime wedge for garnish Salt or sugar for glass optional
To make the margarita mixture, combine the lime juice & simple syrup in a small pitcher.
Fill the cocktail glasses with crushed ice (all the way to the top) and add the margarita mixture leaving some room for the tequila.
Add 1.5 oz of tequila to each glass (one shot glass) and a splash of triple sec.
Garnish with a lime wedge.
Optional: Rub the rim of four 10-ounce glasses with a lime wedge and dip in salt or sugar prior to filling it with crushed ice.
