Ingredients

Licuado #1 Bananas

  • 1 large banana fresh or frozen
  • 8 oz cold milk (use your preferred milk)
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon plus more to garnish
  • ¼ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup old-fashioned oats
  • ½ cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt optional
  • 1 Natural Sweetener packet or more to taste
  • ½ cup ice optional

Instructions

  • Place all the ingredients in a blender and mix for about 1 minute or until desired consistency has been reached.

Notes

  • Instead of non calorie sweeteners, you can use 1 teaspoon of honey or more to taste.
  • Make ahead: You can make this the night before and have it ready for the next day.
  • Add protein powder to enhance the nutritional value.
  • Ripe Bananas: Opt for ripe bananas with brown spots for maximum sweetness and flavor.
  • Freeze Ahead: Peel and slice bananas before freezing, ensuring a creamy texture in your smoothie.
  • Liquid Base: Choose a liquid base like milk, yogurt, or plant-based milk to achieve the desired consistency.
  • Add Greens: Spinach or kale can be blended in for an extra nutrient boost without compromising taste.
