Lay the pineapple side down on the cutting board, and cut the green crown of the pineapple then the bottom of the pineapple.
Cut the pineapple in the middle lengthwise.
Cut vertically straight through the core (center) of the pineapple. And then cut each half in half again, leaving you with four equal pieces.
Remove the core off by slicing in the middle and in an angle of each fourth and into wedges.
Lastly, slice the pineapple into the desired pieces and cut the skin off all at once by slicing off the flesh.
