Once the water reaches a boil, add the cinnamon sticks to the pot. Reduce the heat to low and steep the tea for 10-15 minutes.
If you like sweet tea, add honey or sugar to taste while it’s hot. Stir the mixture until the sweetener dissolves.
Turn off the heat and let it steep for another 5 minutes. Strain the tea to remove the cinnamon sticks if needed.
Sweeten the tea with honey or a sweetener of your choice, and add a splash of lemon for a subtle citrusy kick.
