Mexican Food Blog with Authentic Mexican Recipes

I’m Ana Frias, the heart behind this blog. I’m so happy you’re here!
I’m a food photographer, recipe developer, and founder of Muy Delish, where I share my love of Mexican cuisine.
I was born and raised in Mexico and have a deep passion for authentic Mexican cuisine. I started this blog in 2015 as a way to document my culinary adventures and share my family’s traditional recipes with others.
Since then, my blog has grown in popularity and has been featured in publications such as Women’s Health, Sunset Magazine, American Express and NBC Latino.
Thank you for visiting, and I hope you find joy and inspiration in each recipe shared here. Let’s savor the flavors of tradition together at Muy Delish.
For The Love Of Mexican Food

Behind the recipes’ history
This is, first and foremost, a Mexican food blog. Most recipes are from my native country Mexico with a few non-Mexican recipes here and there.
Most are healthy, some are not, and some are in between. I’m devoted to maintaining a healthy lifestyle, but believe no food is off limits if eaten in moderation!
I’ve been a fitness enthusiast all of my life and began weight lifting sixteen years ago. It’s very important to me to eat foods that are high in protein, healthy fat, and carbs to fuel my body well.
As a food blogger, my focus is on transforming Mexican classic dishes into healthier versions without sacrificing taste.
I take those beloved, hearty meals we all crave and reimagine them with better ingredients or methods —think lighter sauces, more vegetables, leaner meats or air fried instead of deep fried.
Like these Carnitas, Beef Chorizo or Frijoles Charros. However, I must admit there are some where the original recipe is best, as the taste cannot be recreated like my Flour Tortillas or Tres Leches cake. Just enjoy them in moderation!
The goal is to create recipes that are just as satisfying as the originals but better for you. This way, you can enjoy your favorite comfort foods while sticking to your health goals.
Thank you for visiting, and I hope you find joy and inspiration in each recipe shared here. Let’s savor the flavors of tradition together at Muy Delish!
Let’s be friends!

More about me
I’m married to the love of my life (aka Mr. B) and between both of us have 3 amazing young man – all grown and out of the home! We recently moved from Arizona to Portugal where I continue to run Muy Delish.
I was born in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora Mexico and migrated to the U.S. when I was 18. I’m the 9th child! Half of my siblings are still in Mexico…the rest are in the U.S. They are a fun bunch and I adore them all!! COOKING IS IN OUR BLOOD as my mom and dad were excellent cooks and we all learned from them.
